A springsuit is a lighter, more flexible version of a traditional wetsuit, designed for warmer water conditions. It provides the essential benefits of neoprene insulation and protection while allowing for greater mobility and breathability, making it perfect for springtime surfing, triathlons, and other water activities. A wetsuit fully covers the arms and legs and is meant for colder conditions.

Springsuits are best suited for water temperatures between 18°C to 24°C (64°F to 75°F). They offer sufficient warmth and protection without causing overheating, making them ideal for early spring, late summer, and temperate climates.

After each use, rinse your springsuit with fresh water to remove salt, chlorine and debris. Hang it in a shaded, well-ventilated area to dry and avoid direct sunlight. If the suit feels too tight, avoid forcing it on to prevent damaging the neoprene. Conversely, if it’s too loose, you might consider using adjustable straps or layering with a wetsuit vest for a more secure fit. If adjustments don’t help, it may be best to exchange it for a better-fitting option.
