Built Their Place In The Water

In Dakar, Senegal, many children are left unsupervised while both parents work — exposed to the streets, with few safe places to go.

Surfkids Shredding Senegal is changing that. They've built a safe place where girls learn to surf, eat well, stay in school, and build a future. Their "Girls Are Up!" program is getting more girls into the lineup, onto boards, and into education.

WALLIEN already provides their girls with wetsuits and swimwear. Now we want to go further.

They need a dedicated space. Right now, there are no girls' changing rooms. In a community where cultural modesty matters, that's a barrier that keeps girls out of the water.

This International Women's Day, help us remove that barrier.

Donate to Surfkids Shredding Senegal between now and March 22. Your money funds girls' changing rooms and school fees — so they can keep surfing and keep learning.
